Documentation

All businesses within the UK that export have a requirement for export documentation. Errors in documentation are expensive. A mistake can delay the consignment encountering storage costs, which can escalate. Therefore the importance of these documents should not be under estimated.

documentation

The International Trade Team certifies and arranges legalisation of all documentation. We offer electronic, post or a counter service operation to suit your business needs. We can also produce your documentation as an additional service.

The counter service operates between the hours of 1000 to 1200 and 1400 to 1600 when documentation will be certified (if correct) while you wait. This will give exporters double the time to obtain certified documents. Outside these hours documents can be left at our reception and returned by post or collected after 1200 hours the next day.

Visiting and dealing with the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce is always a pleasant experience. The service and help received from the export team, especially Marie and Stef is always spot on. Any document requirements I may require are always dealt with the team in a timely professional manner.”
