CXL is working in partnership with East Lancs Chamber of Commerce, Blackburn with Darwen City Strategy and the 6 Pennine Lancashire local authorities to deliver this £988,000 programme, funded by the ESF and Lancashire Learning and Skills Council, between now and July 2011 (view press release here).
The ESF Employer Response Initiative is aimed at SMEs and large companies in the Pennine Lancashire area who are undertaking significant expansion, inward investing or downsizing and creating redundancies.
The Initiative provides a bespoke rapid response service to companies by delivering a comprehensive portfolio supporting the full spectrum of their workforce development needs.
Business Advisers work alongside employers acting as brokers and supporting the company’s business plan and training needs analysis, offering a choice of services through a simple user-friendly process. The service is seamless and offers the company choice of trainer, venue and time to best suit the beneficiaries’ needs.
