Using Shakespeare's timeless study of leadership and politics, this workshop will help participants understand and develop their own effectiveness and objectives.
The role of a leader is a challenging one. How do you step into a new leadership role with confidence? How can you effectively motivate your team to overcome problems? How can you get everyone pushing in the same direction?
These are just some of the challenges and difficulties Shakespeare wrote about in Henry V and which the acclaimed theatre director Richard Olivier will explore as he guides you through this powerful story of inspirational leadership.
Designed for directors, senior and middle managers who are interested in good leadership practice, Henry V will demonstrate how kings had led, help you to take a closer look at your personal leadership style and will leave you with a new understanding of leadership.
On the day you will choose 2 of the first 4 acts to explore in greater depth. You will also enact an experiential exercise to assess leadership strengths and weaknesses. The workshop will end with Henry's inspired speech to rouse the troops.
No previous knowledge of Shakespeare is needed before the event.
