The Chamber is widely recognised and able to wield great influence on issues ranging from those of international significance to specific individual local company concerns. Sampling groups are in place to enable us to react quickly to topical issues and companies are invited to join those groups to which they can contribute.
The Chamber represents its members in many areas including education, local government, Business Links and Enterprise Trusts.
Our Policy Team provides information on a wide range of issues covering regulations, law and best practice affecting industry and commerce. We provide regular updates on new legislation affecting the business of Chamber Members and we offer a confidential information service for queries on legal and policy matters.
