In December Andrew M. Turner, Managing Director, Langtec Limited became a Freeman of the City of London, following in the footsteps of some very illustrious Freemen in a tradition dating back to 1237.
He became a member of the Worshipful Company of World Traders, a modern City livery, and it’s through them that he received the Freedom of the City. Will it be life-changing?
He can now drive his livestock over London Bridge, choose to be hanged by silk cord rather than rope, can’t be arrested for being drunk and incapable in the City and has the right to carry a naked sword in public.
